I am a passionate GP based in Newcastle NSW. After finishing medical school through UNE in 2014, I completed two years of JMO training in the Hunter New England LHD followed by a year of hospital paediatrics at Hornsby. I then returned to Newcastle, attained Fellowship of the RACGP, and have since practiced at Kotara Family Practice.

I am the Co-Founder and Practice Principal of Parry Street Family Practice, currently in fit out phase, and on track to open in July 2026. PSFP is a purpose built clinic, featuring 8 consulting rooms, dedicated paediatric/nursing consultation room, 2 bed treatment and procedure room, as well as onsite pathology provided by Douglass Hanly Moir. Business Manager and Co-Founder Jaden Cumming, chartered accountant, brings extensive small to medium sized business experience through her career at PwC Newcastle, where she is a Senior Manager. Practice Manager Megan Wallace brings 17 years of successful management experience from her time at Kotara Family Practice. Our Lead Nurse brings experience in practice nursing as well as hospital and theatre nursing. We are developing a passionate, skilled and friendly team of admin staff, nurses, and like minded independent GPs and health professionals.

I work across the breadth of scope of general practice, with particular interest in paediatrics and adolescents, men’s health, mental health, ageing, obesity management, and complex chronic diseases including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. I am a firm believer in the central role GPs play in achieving the best possible health outcomes for our community, as well as the incredible value provided by a highly skilled and well resourced primary care sector led by GPs.

I have also led and overseen many clinical trials as Principal Investigator at Novatrials since 2020. Over that time Novatrials has grown from a small but dedicated team in a 2 room outpatient clinic, to now having a large, multidisciplinary expert staff operating in a purpose built $5m private hospital facility with 30 bed purpose built phase I confinement unit, 11 clinic rooms, infusion lounge, high spec pharmacy and laboratory. As Principal Investigator I have conducted clinical trials from Phases I-IV across a wide range of clinical areas, especially obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, gout, osteoarthritis, chronic pain, vaccine development.
